There's a similar scam, called a brushing scam. A company will get your address, then put down that you bought an item from their store on Amazon but they will pay for it. It's to boost their sales numbers. And yes, you get to keep the package. My son got a brand new set of really nice knives.

Nope. Daylight savings time started in New Zealand and England not far apart from each other. George Hudson of New Zealand, in 1895, decided there should be a shift in the clock because he wanted more time before or after work to catch insects. So he sent a paper to the Wellington Philosophical Society in 1895 and 1898 to make his points. Hudson was selfish. In 1907 William Willet took a ride during the summer morning in London and saw how people were enjoying their mornings by sleeping. He decided they were being lazy, and he was also upset about having to cut his golf game short due to nightfall's approach. So basically, Willet was jealous. He lobbied Parliament for a year. In 1908 a member of the House of Commons created a bill but it failed. Willet lobbied for seven years. Ontario was the first state/province to adopt it, 1908. First whole country was Germany, 1916. The United States, 1918. Many countries followed DST during the war, but stopped after the war. It became a nationwide thing in 1966 in the US.
Well that ended during Nixons era so it’s not backed by anything of value anymore and they just keep printing more and more and more making its worth less and less

All mines learned by 5 because I didn't want to run into that type of situation and ONE OF THEM ACTUALLY SAVED ANOTHER CHILD from drowning at the beach because they knew what to do in a rip current!
